I joined the Art House Co-op Self Portrait project and received my 4' by 4' canvas in the mail about three weeks later. It was really hard to paint my own face even though it's my third time doing a self portrait. Instead, I had to paint it upside down using a photo ref. I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out but it was challenging painting on such a small area. Decided on a brighter approach too compared to the other paintings I've done. Going to send it back to Brooklyn this week and I can focus on my next exciting project.
