I was on a roll with the technique and did as many as I could. Love the white on brown and hope you do too :)

"We're All Mad Here" exhibition

Opening night of 'We're All Mad Here' was crazy. It's an awesome show with lots of great artists and great works. People dressed up for the occasion and the tea party spread was worthy of any mad hatters in town.

Monday Faces

My student asked me if I ever had bad drawing days. There's always good and bad days. Today my mind and hands don't seem to coordinate very well which equates to a bad drawing day. Sometimes it may include ideas not flowing, and the results aren't what I imagined it to be. Drawings get crossed out or the bin seems appropriate for a basketball net. Fortunately I managed to pencil out this face before the bad spell happen. Usually I work through doodles or take a break. It usually gets better the next day especially with some sleep.

Hair yet again....

Yeah so I'm on a quest to perfect some hair technique and I still need more practice. Watching Kung Fu Panda 2 while drawing this so I guess it's the perfect movie for tonight's drawing session.

Hair practice tonight. Also, if you're in Adelaide tomorrow night, drop by Espionage Gallery. Got new work in the Alice in Wonderland group exhibition. Great artists such as Koralie, Elisa Mazzone (picture below), Elodie and many more will be in it too. Still can't believe I'm in the same exhibition as Koralie. She's awesome and got to see 8 original pieces from her :D

Monday Faces

It's Adelaide Cup today which means no work today. Don't want to be outside in this mad heat we have here. Was on a drawing roll today so three faces. I haven't drawn on black paper and played with watercolours for a while so it was good to go back to them.
