The skies have let loose and the winds have their day. Class had to be cancelled due to the weather. On the plus side, it was nice staying inside, keeping warm and do some work. I did three faces today but only improved on one of them.
Also, have to start working on the piece for an upcoming exhibition. Choices, choices, choices. More details later on.
An article by Christian Jarrett on how to be lucky in your career development. This quote probably says everything about life in general.
"When you look back on events, it’s pretty incredible how things come
together. Nothing happens independently. Everything is tied to something
before it. Sometimes the links are more obvious than others, but it’s
healthy to take a few moments to reflect on how many things – and people
– had to come together in order for another thing to happen. "
Today is a good day to be rugged up and listening to music. At least that's what I did on my way to work. Not only that, I got to walk in the rain with my big hood on, enjoying the rain.
I managed to do some drawing on the weekend since working on the website and Etsy shop. Having those done, I can start on other projects that were shelved for a while. Hope everyone got through the day fine. :)
So I jumped onto the bandwagon and created a separate Facebook page just for my work. It probably may seem nothing but I was hesitant about creating one for two years. The idea was shelved for a really long time until I thought, 'What the heck'.
So for those people on my personal page, I'll still keep Monday Faces going there as well as on the new artist page. Faces will be posted hours apart on both pages so it won't seemed like I'm spamming your news feeds in the early week. Other things like updates, works in progress and full works will be on the artists page. So if you want to see more of those, follow me on this page to check it out.
As for what's been going on, I've been working on my website. So cross your fingers, I can get the new website with new work up and running by end of this week.
